SRF Job position in National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources on temporary & contract basis
Name of the Project & project period : XII Plan Scheme “National Agriculture Innovation Fund (NAIF)”. The post duration is Upto 31.03.2017 or earlier & Co-terminus with the project.
Senior Research Fellow
No. of Post : 01
Qualifications : Master degree in any one of discipline/ Subjects - Biotechnology/ Animal Genetics & Breeding/ Computer Application with 4 years/5 Years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable : Working experience in any research institution (preferably Animal Sciences) of repute or degree/diploma in Intellectual Rights
Emolument : Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA as per admissibility for 1st and 2nd year, Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA as per admissibility for 3rd year.
Age Limit : 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women as on the date of Interview.
Name of the Project & project period : National fund project on “Delineating Beta Casein Variants in Indian Cows and Potential Health Implications of A1A2 Milk".

Qualifications : M.V.Sc/ M.Tech/M.Sc degree in any one of discipline/ Subjects- Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Animal Genetics & Breeding/Animal Biochemistry/Life sciences with 4 years/5 Years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable : Working experience in the field of Molecular Biology Techniques/ SNP genotyping and sequence data analysis, gene cloning, mammalian and bacterial cell culture handling.
Emolument: Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA as per admissibility for 1st and 2nd year, Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA as per admissibility for 3rd year.
