ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research will conduct walk-in-interview / written tests on the below mentioned purely temporary project posts, tenable at ICMR-NIMR for the period as mentioned against each post. The term may be extended further as per requirement.

1. Project Title: An IDDO-ICMR joint project for the capacity building of young researchers

2. Place of Posting: ICMR-NIMR, Sector 8, Dwarka, New Delhi

3. Duration: Seven Month

4. Name of Post: Consultant – Scientific (Medical/ Non Medical) Bio Statistician

5. No. of Post: 01 (UR)

6. Salary (fixed) In Rs. pm: Rs. 80,000/- Pm

7. Essential Qualification: Ph.D Or MD in Statistics/ Biostatistics/ Epidemiology/ Populat ion Science and published papers.

8. Desirable Qualification:

Strong analytical knowledge and experience of handling large datasets. Knowledge of handling biological database. Knowledge of handling statistical tools (SPSS, R, MATLAB,STATA, Graph Pad Prism etc) Experience in meta-analysis and protocol development.

9. Experience required:

i. A publication record which demonstrate experience in the conduct, analysis and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases.

ii. The ability to understand and interpret complex research and scientific projects, and to communicate key messages to specialist and nonspecialist audiences.

iii. A willingness to travel for meetings and events.

iv. Fluency or working level in English.

v. Experience of biostatistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology
