Job Description
Project Technician recruitment in National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR)
Project entitled: “Phases II and III evaluation of the efficacy and residual activity of SumiShield 50% WG (Clothianidin 50%) for indoor spraying for malaria vector control in Karnataka state, India” on purely temporary and contract basis
All the positions are based at Almatti, District Viajayapura, Karnataka state.
Project Technician-I/1 Post
Essential Qualification: 10th / Matric/ High school/ equivalent with one year experience in Entomology field activities, insect collection, from Government/ recognized institute or with certificate of one year training in the relevant area. *12th pass in science subjects shall be treated as equivalent to 2 years experience
Age: 28 years
Pay Scale : Rs. 14200/p.m. (No other allowances)
Project Technician-II/2 Posts
Essential Qualification: 10th / Matric/ High school/ equivalent with one year experience from Government/ recognized institute in Entomology or As technician ‘A’ with five years experience in field work in Entomology, vector control/laboratory or Animal House Keeping in Govt. recognized Organization. *12th pass in science subjects shall be treated as two years and B.Sc. degree shall be treated as three years experience.
Age: 28 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules)
Pay Scale : Rs. 16000
Project Technician-III /1 Post
Essential qualification: 12th pass in Science Subjects and 2 years diploma in Entomology, Medical Entomology or relevant field or 12th in Science Subjects with one year diploma (DMLT or equivalent diploma) and one year required experience in Medical Entomology in a recognized Orgn. as Technician ‘B’ or two years field/ laboratory experience or Animal House Keeping in Govt. recognized Organization.
*B.Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years experience
Age : 28 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules)
Pay Scale : Rs. 15200/-p.m. (No other allowances)
