Job Title: Internship

About the Internship: Applications are invited from engineering graduates and diploma-holders for internship in CATI, NISH.

Requirement: We require highly motivated, self-driven, and focused engineering graduates, ready to take on the challenges associated with working in an area that is relatively unexplored in India. Sensitivity to disability and rehabilitation is an important requirement. The right candidate will be creative, resourceful, and willing to do hands-on work, with an acumen to explore, assess, identify, and deploy assistive and learning technologies effectively and efficiently. He/she will need to conceptualise and create innovative solutions based on available technologies / products / materials to provide accommodation and accessibility to persons with disability.
Engineering graduates are preferred, but exceptionally talented diploma holders demonstrating depth of knowledge and commitment to the field of disability and rehabilitation may also be considered.

Duration: Six months (starting from mid-July 2016)

Scope: The intern will be directly involved in the implementation of assistive and learning technology projects. This is a good opportunity to learn and experience new technologies, and to interact with a wide variety of people.

Stipend: Rs.10,000 per month
