National Law University jobs for Senior Communications Manager in Delhi. Last Date to apply: 27 Jun 2022

The National Law University, Delhi (‘University’) through Project 39A is seeking to engage, on a contractual basis, a Senior Communications Manager at its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.

The contract will be for one year initially and can be extended on an annual basis at the discretion of the University. The manager will work closely with the Executive Steering Committee and the communications team in the ideation and delivery of the Communications requirements of the project.

Qualifications and Requirements: 1. A Masters's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

2. A total of 8 to 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience working in the public relations or communications sector. 3. Previous experience engaging with issues related to the criminal justice system or access to justice is highly desirable. 4. An ability to tell concise yet engaging stories using audio-visual materials.

5. A sophisticated understanding of key social media platforms and the strategies that might be relevant for such platforms.

6. Working knowledge of audio-visual editing and design software.

7. Demonstrable ability to take ownership, have accountability, and work in a collaborative, closely-knit, multi-disciplinary team.

8. Demonstrable skills and previous experience in communications research and strategy, media relations, digital engagement best practices, network management, and event planning and management. 9. High proficiency in English and the ability to read/ write/ speak additional Indian languages will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Compensation: The compensation will be commensurate with experience.
