Job Description

Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible passed out students of National Museum Institute only for the position of 01 Research Assistant on contractual basis initially for a period of six months for the project of setting up of two museums in Lal Qila on the following themes:-

1. Post Name: Research Assistant

2. No of Post: 01

3. Themes: (i) India's Struggle for freedom and (ii) Museum on Jammu & Kashmir

4. Essential Qualification:

(i) Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks in Museology/or History of Art from National Museum Institute;
(ii) Good working knowledge of computer and MS Office. 

5. Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in the related discipline. Working experience in areas relevant to the projects. Good knowledge of English and Hindi.

6. It is amply clarified that above engagement will be purely casual/contractual basis on a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 38000/- per month initially for a period of six months, extendable up to one year or up to the completion of the projects whichever is earlier (subject to satisfactory performance of the selected candidate).

7. The engagement can be terminated on 10 days notice from either side. Under no circumstances, Research Assistant will be considered as the Institute’s employee or may claim for regularization in future as the contractual arrangement is meant for this project only.

Age Limit:
Not to exceed 40 years on the last date of issue of this advertisement.
