National Tuberculosis Institute (NTI), a Government of India Organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare invites application for appointment of the following posts on Contractual basis at National Reference Laboratory, NTI, Bengaluru for a period of one year.

4. Qualification: Degree in Computer application.
5. Experience: Should be proficient in data analysis and statistical packages. Two years of work experience in relevant field
6. Nature of duties:
Periodic data cleaning submitted to the NRL, validate, interpret, analyze using statistical techniques and provide reports. To analyze data on smear microscopy, molecular tests, culture and DST, Genetic sequencing. To undertake statistical analysis of laboratory indicators. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality. To ensure LIMS and NIKSHAY data entry updating in real time.
7. Duration: 1 year

The ICMR survey of 1955-58 showed that there were 4 sputum smear positive cases and 16 radiologically positive cases of pulmonary TB per 1000 population and this problem was equally distributed in rural and urban areas.
