Native App Designer

Our Product Design and Management teams work tirelessly to understand what our customers need and make it a reality. They’re the ones who make our deals come to life and our user experience simple and intuitive .

The native app designer takes a customer-centric approach to ensure solutions meet user needs and successfully address business goals. They work directly with other designers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders. They consider the end-to-end customer experience, and push to elevate our app design .

In This Role You Will Get To

• Gather and prioritize goals and requirements from disparate business, product, and engineering stakeholders
• Work with product managers to identify key initiatives
• Conduct user research and testing activities
• Tap into consumer insights & utilize UX Heuristics to drive compelling experiences
• Work in a culture driven by experimentation and a/b testing methodologies
• Work closely with design ops to drive design system development
  
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
• Knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design
• Familiarity with agile product development processes, and lean product development methods
• Strong understanding of usability and accessibility best practices
• Designs content-first and mobile-first, and takes into account technical feasibility and development level of effort
• Utilize Sketch & Invision to bring concepts to life
• Demonstrated history of living the values important to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust. Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
