4. Sub Project 2 Component-1: Genotyping of Sesame Germplasm Following High Throughput Genomics
5. Essential qualification: Master's Degree (including M. Tech) in Biotechnology Plant breeding/ Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences Bioinformatics or related subjects from a recognized University or equivalent.
6. Desirable Qualification: NET GATE qualified and research experience in biotechnology bioinformatics, including statistical analysis; preferably in sesame crop Publications in peer-reviewed high impact journals
7. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 +24% HRA for PhD or MSc/MTech with NET/GATE; or Rs. 25,000+ 24%HRA for MSc /M. Tech without NET/ GATE;

In an unprecedented initiative, NBPGR, for the first time, has characterized and evaluated (preliminary) entire germplasm of wheat (22000 accessions comprising T. aestivum, T. durum and T. dicoccum) conserved in the National Genebank, at three locations in during Rabi 2011-12. At CCS HAU, Hisar, the wheat accessions have been characterized under optimum conditions. Data on 32 agro-morphological characters are used to develop a core-set.
