Medical Physicist
No. of Post : 1 (OBC) (Reserved for Physically Handicapped) (OL)
Qualification : 1. M.Sc in Medical Physics or equivalent from a recognized University. Or 2. (i) M.Sc in Physics from a recognized University. (ii)A post Graduate diploma/ degree in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university/institution.
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years
Staff Nurse
No. of Posts : 3 (1- Reserved for Physically Handicapped (OL) & 2- Reserved for Hearing Handicapped)
Qualification : 1. Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board. 2. Certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualifications for male nurse. 3. Should be registered as ‘A’ grade Nurse & Midwifery with a State Nursing Council or equivalent qualification for male nurse.
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9,300-34,800/- GP Rs. 4,600/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years
Senior Stenographer
No. of Post : 1 (Reserved for Visually Handicapped) (B.LV)
Qualification : 1. 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. 2. Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 minutes at the rate of hundred words per minute. Transcription: 40 minutes (English) or 55 minutes (Hindi) on computers
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB -2 Rs. 9300 - 34,800/- GP Rs. 4,200/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years
Multi Tasking Staff
No. of Post : 1 UR (Reserved for Physically Handicapped (OL.OA)
Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board/ University Or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Passed.
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB -1 Rs. 5200 – 20,200/- GP Rs. 1,800/-
Not exceeding 25 years.
Selection Procedure : Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the skill/written test/interview as the Institute deemed fit.

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is an Autonomous Institute established by Government of India in 1987 under the Meghalaya Registration of Societies Act 1983. The then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi dedicated the Institute to the memory of Late Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister for her commitment to the welfare and affection for the people of North Eastern Region. It has now been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in the lineage of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. NEIGRIHMS has been the First and the only Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and third in the country established by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
