Research Fellow/ Field Worker Jobs recruitment in North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) on temporary basis
Project Title : “Study on Causative Analysis for better dispersion of Skilled Health Professionals in Rural and Remote Areas” under NHSRC, NHM, MoHFW, Government of India”
Research Fellow
No. of Posts : 02
Qualification : Postgraduate in Social Sciences/Public health/any other related field.
Experience : a) Good conversant with Khasi and English languages b) Experience of conducting surveys/in-depth interviews in fields related to health c) Should be able to analyze data, review secondary data and compiled reports. d) Also able to travel for interview of doctors/nurses working at CHC/PHC and sub-center in remote blocks of West Khasi Hills and Jaintia Hills.
Salary : Rs. 10000/- (fixed)

Qualification : Graduate in any subject (preferable in health sciences)
Experience : Conversant with Khasi, English and Hindi languages -Experience of working in fields related to health

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is an Autonomous Institute established by Government of India in 1987 under the Meghalaya Registration of Societies Act 1983. The then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi dedicated the Institute to the memory of Late Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister for her commitment to the welfare and affection for the people of North Eastern Region. It has now been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in the lineage of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. NEIGRIHMS has been the First and the only Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and third in the country established by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
