For Full Time M.Tech. Programme With Scholarship: (Four Semester Programme Of Two Year Duration)

Department : Electronics and Communication Engineering

Qualifying Degree : B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology Or A.M.I.E. (India) with appropriate specialization /Grad. I.E.T.E.(India) AMIE(London) or any other examination in the concerned branch. Or Recognized as equivalent to B.E. degree by the University of Delhi.

Computer Engineering : B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Software Engineering / Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engineering. Or A.M.I.E. (India) with appropriate specialization /Grad. I.E.T.E.(India) AMIE(London) or any other examination in the concerned branch. Or Recognized as equivalent to B.E. degree by the University of Delhi.

Instrumentation & Control Engineering : B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Chemical/ Polymer/ Mechanical Engineering/ Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering. Or A.M.I.E. (India) with appropriate specialization /Grad. I.E.T.E.(India) AMIE(London) or any other examination in the concerned branch. Or Recognized as equivalent to B.E. degree by the University of Delhi.

For Full Time Sponsored M.Tech Programme Without Scholarship. (Four Semester Programme Of Two Year Duration)

i) Eligibility criteria as per details given for Full-Time M.Tech. programme. OR A candidate must have passed in the A.M.I.E.(India) Exam. with appropriate specialization /Grad. I.E.T.E. (India) AMIE (London) or any other examination in the concerned branch recognized as equivalent to B.E. degree by the University of Delhi. The preference shall be given to those candidates who are GATE qualified. ii) The candidates must have minimum one year’s full time work experience in a registered firm/company/Industry/ Educational and Research Institutes/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous organizations in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. Experience period will be counted from the date of declaration of B.E. Result till 31/07/2016. iii) A letter from the employer must be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored to get admission. The employer should also indicate that the candidate will not be withdrawn midway till the completion of the course.

Part Time M.Tech. Programme (Six Semester Programme Of Three Year Duration)

i) Eligibility criteria as per details given for Full-Time M.Tech. programme. OR A candidate must have passed in the A.M.I.E.(India) Exam. with appropriate specialization /Grad. I.E.T.E.(India) AMIE(London) or any other examination in the concerned branch recognized as equivalent to B.E. degree by the University of Delhi. ii) The candidates must have minimum one year’s full time work experience in a registered firm/company/Industry/Educational and Research Institutes/ any Government Department Or Government Autonomous organizations in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. One year experience will be counted from the date of declaration of B.E. result till 31/07/2016. The candidates will be required to submit a ‘No Objection Certificate” from their employers.

Scholarship : 1. GATE qualified candidates selected for full-time M.Tech course will be entitled for AICTE scholarship as per rules/ procedures decided by AICTE at the time of release of scholarship. 2. Sponsored/ Part-Time candidate will not be eligible to receive scholarship even if they are admitted on the basis of GATE score.

Application Fee : If candidate is willing to apply for Full Time (FT) as well as Sponsored Full Time (SFT) or Part Time (PT) in a division, he/she is required to make multiple registrations and fill separate applications for each type of course in a division. For each registration made by candidate, separate registration fee of Rs. 1,000/- is required to be deposited by the candidate.

Selection Procedure : The selection of the Full-Time (GATE)/ SC/ST/ PH M.Tech. students shall be made on the basis of Gate Score only amongst the candidates registered online for the admission, through screening committee and selection committee. The final selection of the candidates for Sponsored (Full-Time) and Part-Time course shall be made by the Selection Committee on the basis of their performance at the qualifying examination, written test and interview/ Viva- Voce
