Strong Linux OS, processes, threads, file systems).
Strong knowledge about different networking protocols such as CDP, LLDP, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, Access Control List, IPv6, VRRP, NAT, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, GRE, VXLAN, MPLS, etc.
Strong Java and Python programming skill.
Conduct research on different network devices and protocols to learn their functional behavior.
Design and build network topologies in virtual (e.g., GNS3) and physical environments.
Configure network devices to enable and test different network protocols.
Develop data collection and parsing modules to model functional behavior of a device.
Write unit tests for newly added modules and existing modules.
Write and maintain design documents.
Work closely with the QA team to assist them in designing test cases and setting up testbeds.
Any other project and task as deemed fit by the manager.
