Your Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and configure all Network Devices falling under IBM Scope and ensure Data Centre Network operations should be up & running 24*7*365 days.
• The overall Data Centre operations and maintain the service levels and do the planning and coordination during the shift
• Setup data Centre infrastructure, environment and facilities
• Perform scheduled tests of Data Centre infrastructure, including generators, fire suppression systems, and environmental monitoring systems
• Perform upgrades to existing and deployment of new systems, equipment racks, power distribution, and required cabling
• Maintain accurate system inventory, labelling, and system specific documentation
• Monitor data Centre environmental factors, such as cooling and humidity; takes appropriate action to remedy the situation
• Interact with UIDAI to ensure that data Centre services are meeting the UIDAI requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• More than 3 years of experience in managing and configuration of various types of network devices and LAN cabling.
• Expertise in working Data Centre environment with knowledge of the Facilities (Cooling System, Electrical systems like - DG, UPS, Battery, Transformers, Distribution Panel etc.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• CCENT, CCT or equivalent certification in networking.
• To ensure that all the data pertaining to the company and its clients is safeguarded against unauthorized or illegal use by implementing various methodologies against those who violate the security rules and regulations
• To maintain the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the information and to maintain its authenticity, control and utility of the relevant data
• To support all the necessary procedures related to security approval, accreditation, certification, etc.
• To implement a realistic approach during the certification schedule and process
• To keep a track of the resolution of vulnerabilities that have been identified on the system and to develop, update, maintain, and implement plan of action subsequently
• To ensure compliance with vulnerability and mitigation procedures and to establish and install security fixes at regular intervals
