Notification For Engagement Of Advisor (Geology), Nlc India Limited As Per Nlcil’s Policy For Availing Services Of Former/retired Senior Executives As Advisors/ Consultant

i. NLC India Limited invites applications for engagement of Full Time Advisor from retired executives of minimum E8 grade and above from NLCIL or any other Public sector undertakings for a period of One Year.

1. Name of the Post: Advisor (Geology)

2. No.of Posts / Place of Posting: One post / Neyveli

3. Grade/Level: E8 (GM) and above grade executive retired from NLCIL or any other PSU.

4. Nature of work:

a. Guiding in preparation & submission of new exploration proposals and pursuing with CMPDI, MoC and National Mineral Exploration Trust (NMET) Secretariat, GSI, New Delhi for obtaining approval.

b. Interacting & Co-ordinating with State and Central Government agencies in matters pertaining to lignite exploration programme and issues related to Mining lease for Lignite and Minor Minerals, Overburden to Sand project and Lignite to Methanol projects of NLCIL.

c. Providing Technical guidance and assistance related to Geological, GeoHydrological and Geo-technical studies pertaining to Coal Mining projects viz. Pachwara South Coal Block and Talabira-II&III OCP.

d. Guiding & assisting in implementing Remote Sensing & GIS based research study on Groundwater conservation & Management for NLCIL and associating/assisting the District Administration, Cuddalore in implementing project related to “Jal Shakthi Abhiyan” Scheme.

e. Guiding & assisting the works for implementing Integrated Lignite Resources Information System (ILRIS).

5. Qualification: M.Sc.,/M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized University.

6. Experience:

a. Coal/Lignite Exploration works.

b. Ground Water Control/Management in Coal/Lignite Mines.

c. Hydro-geological and Geo-technical works pertaining to Mining projects.

d. Pursuing with State/Central Govt. agencies on the matters pertaining to Exploration, Mining Lease, NOC for Ground Water etc

7. Remuneration: Consolidated monthly compensation/honorarium will be fixed in the minimum of the scale of pay in which he/she was retired.
