Job Description
National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invites application for the position Computer Programmer
Salary: Rs. 32500 /- (Consolidated)
Duration: Up to 30th June 2022
Essential Qualification: BE/MCA or equivalent degree with 1-2 years’ experience in relevant field.
Desirable Experience:
(A) Desired:
(i) Knowledge of Relational database administration
(ii) Relational database design and maintenance using normalization
(iii) Good in sql query, optimization query and stored procedures
(iv) Maintenance of system with patches to ensure no downtime.
(v) Requirement gathering for optimization and for new features
(vi) Planning and implementing new features
(vii) Unit, Functionality and Integration testing with documentation to make sure functionality does not break.
(viii) Design and maintain security for database access.
(ix) Experience & understanding of web application development.
(x) Familiarity with deployment and configuration of open-source database and web platforms on Linux.
(B) Other:
(i) Strong written and oral communication skills
(ii) Excellent analytical and organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
(iii) Experience writing technical documents and SOPs is an asset.
