Research Associate Plant Pathology/SRF/JRF recruitment in NIPHM
Research Associate (Plant Pathology) Plant Health Management Division/ 01 Post
Qualification: 1.Ph.D. in Plant Pathology OR 2.M.Sc. (Agriculture / Botany/Microbiology) with specialization in Plant Pathology with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with 02 years research experience in the above subject with NET qualification. Note: NO Experience and NET Qualification is required for Ph.D. candidates.
Research Associate (Pesticide Management) Pesticide Management Division /01Post
Qualification: 1.Ph.D. in Agricultural Chemicals/Agricultural Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry / Environmental Science / Environmental Chemistry / Entomology / Plant Pathology OR 2.Master’s Degree holders in the above subjects with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division (or) 60% of marks (or) equivalent grade point average with at least 02 years of research experience in the field of Chemical analysis as evidenced from fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagement etc.
Age: 40 for Men & 45 for Women
Pay Scale : For candidates possessing Doctoral Degree Rs. 40,000 per month + HRA as applicable ii. For candidates possessing Master’s degree with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree Rs. 38,000 per month + HRA as applicable
Senior Research Fellow (Entomology) Plant Health Management Division /02 Posts
Qualification: 1. Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology OR 2. Master’s degree in Agriculture / Zoology with specialization in Entomology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR 3. Graduates with three years of Bachelor’s degree in Basic Sciences with 2 years Post Graduate degree in relevant field should have NET Qualification. Experience: 01 year experience in relevant field Desirable: PGDC(PP)/PGDPHM Note: No experience and NET qualification required for Ph.D. candidates.
Senior Research Fellow (Pesticide Management) Pesticide Management Division /03 Posts
Qualification: 1. Master’s degree in Agricultural Chemicals/Agricultural Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry / Environmental Science / Environmental Chemistry / Entomology / Plant Pathology / Microbiology / Biological Control with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR 2. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic sciences with three years Bachelor degree and 2 years Master’s degree in the above subjects should have NET qualification.
Age: 35 for Men & 40 for Women
Pay Scale : Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA as applicable for 1 st and 2nd year. Rs. 28000/- per month + HRA as applicable for 3 rd year
Junior Research Fellow (Entomology) Plant Biosecurity Division/01 Post
Qualification: 1. Master’s degree in Entomology /Zoology with specialization in Entomology / Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with PG Diploma in PHM (or) PGDC (PP)
Age: 35 for Men & 40 for Women
Pay Scale : Rs. 12,000

In order to bestow greater functional flexibility, and broader reach in delivery against the emerging challenges in the field of Plant Health Management, a very crucial area for enhancing our country's agricultural production, the Department of Agriculture & Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India had taken a decision for transforming this Institute into an autonomous body vide resolution F. No. 20-62/2007-PP I dated 13th October,2008. Consequently, the Institute has been registered as an Autonomous Society under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India, in the Office of the Registrar of Societies, Rangareddy District, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh on 24th October, 2008 under the name, National Institute of Plant Health Management with Registration No. 1444 of 2008 under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Act No.35 of 2001).
