Research Associate (Software programmer) / SRF Job Position in National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM)

Research Associate (Software programmer)

Qualification : 1) Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) in the relevant subject. OR 2) First class Master’s degree in the relevant subject ie., M.Sc. (Computer Application) with B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Agricultural Engineering OR 3) First class Master’s degree in the relevant subject ie., M.Sc/M.S/M.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology, Master in Computer Application (MCA) with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average. (Graduates with three years bachelor’s degree, who have acquired professional Master’s degree (3 year ) like M.Sc. (Ag.), Masters in Computer Applications, M. Tech., etc are also eligible ) Experience: Two years of research experience in programming for Database Management & its administration as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/other engagements Desirable: Knowledge in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technologies – ESRI Softwares and Open Source Softwares, Networking and Linux server Administration

SRF (Pesticide Management)

Qualification : 1)PhD in the relevant subject or 2) Master’s degree in the relevant subject ie., Agricultural Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Bio Chemistry/ Bio-technology/Environmental Science / Microbiology/ Botany with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. 3) Post graduate degree in Basic Sciences i.e., Bio-technology/Environmental Science/Microbiology etc., with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification. (Graduates with three years bachelor’s degree, who have acquired professional Master’s degree (3 years) like M.Sc. (Ag.), Masters in Computer Applications, M. Tech., etc are also eligible ) Experience : 1 year of experience in Analytical Equipment operation and preferably in Chromatographic Equipment. Desirable : PGDPHM in Pesticide Management.

(Graduates with three years bachelor’s degree, who have acquired professional Master’s degree (3 years) like M.Sc. (Ag.), Masters in Computer Applications, M. Tech., etc are also eligible ) Experience : 01 year experience in the relevant field Desirable : PGDC(PP)/PGDPHM
