Job Description
An online interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a SERB Research in the Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Calicut, is scheduled to be held on 05/11/2021 at 3:00 p.m.
1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
2. Name of the Project: Development of Electrospun Membranes with graded Hydrophobicity for Membrane Distillation
3. Name of sponsoring agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
4. Duration of Appointment: Initially for one year (on contract basis) and extendable further subject to performance and availability of project fund
5. Qualification & Experience : M.E./ M.Tech/MSc in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science/ Engineering, Nanotechnology, Chemistry or allied fields with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in UG and /or PG selected through a process described through any of the following:
a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test like GATE or
b) The selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DRDO, MHRD,IISc.,IIT, IISER, etc.
6. A minimum of one-year experience in the relevant field is desirable
7. Consolidated monthly fellowship: Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees twenty five thousand only) per month
