National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Tiruchirappalli) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow
Age should be less than 27 years.
OR B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% or 7.5 CGPA from a recognized university / institute and a valid GATE score
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Project Positions as per the details given below, (for consultancy / research projects, under the principal investigator Dr. M.P. Selvan, Associate Professor/ EEE at National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli-15, Tamil Nadu.
1. Title of the Project : Development of Metal 3D Printed Lightweight Flywheel and Novel Control Algorithm for Micro-grid Energy Storage Applications
2. Funding agency for the Project specimen : DST SERB (File No. CRG/2021/005521)
3. Project Position : Junior Research Fellow
4. No of Post : 01
5. Qualification : M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% or 7.5 CGPA from a recognized university / institute and a valid GATE score.

6. Emoluments : Rs. 31,000 + HRA per month for 1st and 2nd Year and Rs. 35,000 + HRA per month for the 3rd Year
7 .Duration : 36 months (Extension based on performance review after every 12 months)
8. Job Description : Modelling and design of Flywheel Energy Storage System. Purchase of equipment and inventories for the project. Implementation of the real time microgrid with FESS and testing its features. The candidate selected as Junior Research Fellow, will be permitted to register for PhD/MS programme as per NITT rules and regulations subject to satisfying the admission procedure.
