National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Tiruchirappalli) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Research Assistant–
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the SERB-POWER, GOI project titled “Design and development of low cost multifunctional lower limb exoskeleton system for motion assistance to paraplegics” in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
1. Position & Number: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Research Assistant– one
2. Essential qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical / production/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation /Electrical /Electronics with M.E/M.Tech in Control /Instrumentation /Mechatronics /Mechanical /Engineering Design.
Minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA in UG and PG from a recognized University/ Institute. Candidates with qualified GATE score will be considered for JRF post and candidate without GATE Score will be considered for Project Assistant post
3. Job Description:
a. Robotic modelling and control, simulation and experimentation.
b. Purchase of Equipment and inventories for the project.
c. Dynamic modeling and design of exoskeletons (CAD), Co-simulation using MATLAB/ADAMS/SOLIDWORKS
d. The candidate selected as Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant, will be permitted to register for PhD programme as per NITT rules and regulations.
4. Salary: Rs. 31000 +16% HRA for JRF Rs. 25000 + 16% HRA for Project Assistant
