Qualification : a. Masters degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks b. M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area with not less than 55% of Marks Or an equivalent grade of B in 7- Point scale or An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI c. An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.

Desirable Additional Qualification : PhD/ M.phil. in Education with research emphasis on Special Education Experience for a period of at least 3 years as teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability. 3 Years of teaching experience at diploma level.

Assistant Professor General Education : a. Masters degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) b. M.Ed. Degree in less than 55% (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) c. Any other stipulation prescribed by the RCI/UGC/any such affiliation body / state Government, from time to time for the position of principal and lecturers shall be mandatory. d. Provided that at least one lecturer should have specialization in ICT and another in the special education.
