Recruitment of Sports Persons against Sports Quota on North Western Railway for the year 2016-17

Qualification : Passed class 12th/ Graduate or equivalent with Represented the country in Olympic Game/ Commonwealth Championship/ Asian Championship/ Asia Cup/ SAF Game/ USIC Championship/ National Championship/ National Games/ All India Inter University Championships.
Age Limit : 18 - 25 Years
Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200
Fee : Candidates Can Pay The Fee of Rs. 500/- For General Candidates and Rs. 250/- For SC/ST/ Women/Minorities/Economic Backward Classes. The Fee Can Pay through DD/IPO should be drawn in favour of "North Western Railway Sports Association", payable at Jaipur/G.P.O. Jaipur.
Selection Process : Selection will be conducted by North Western Railway, Headquarter, Jaipur. Selection of candidates will be based on their achievements in relevant sports, educational qualification, general intelligence, personality, game skills, physical fitness and observations of coach & trial committee during trial. All eligible candidates will be called for Trial and after Trial, only the FIT candidates will be called for Interview. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee will not be assessed further.

North Western Railway came being on 1st October, 2002. It was carved out of 2 divisions each from Northern and Western Railways. The formation of this zone along with five other new zones was first approved by Railway Board on 16th September, 1996 and foundation stone for this zone was laid on 17th October 1996 by the then Prime Minister Shri H.D. Deve Gowda at K.P. Singh Stadium, Jaipur.
