Job Description
To create, manage, facilitate and co-ordinate the successful (timely and to budget) completion of new product project plans in support of the
SBU groups. Completion is seen as when full production at run at rate is consistently happening. Sign off by NPD Manager, SBU Program
manager and Quality Manager is required via Stage gate reviews.
2) Manages the effective handover to the production team through preproduction to SOP. Supports production team post SOP.
3) Is the contact point for the SBU and customer and responsible person for the implementation of such projects throughout the operational
phases.
4) Leads the operations project team to meet all project and APQP milestone dates.
5) Is responsible for supplying quotation information to the SBU in support of new product projects.
6) Manages plastic moulding tooling feasibility and commercial.
7) Manages plastic moulding tooling design and development.
