Roles and Responsibilities

Cross check of all blood transfusions in ward or ICU.
Ensure availability of equipment's on the floor.
Ensure narcotic protocols are being followed.
Arrangement of bed in ICU for any sick patient in ward..
Representative of nursing administration in night and responsible for night rounds.
To meet all new admitted patients on their respective floors..
Incident reporting.
Round of the assigned areas.
Filling coder sheet for all code blue happened.
Rectification/correction in/of the patients file on the basis of Audit Observations.
Cross departmental Audit - Crash cart, Fridge, Inventory, Equipment's.
Implementation of CA & PA identified basis Incident reported and Audits.
Staffs leave management.
Preparing duty roster.
Ensure adequate staffing on the floor by arranging staff against absenteeism/SL etc.
Arrangement of vehicle for on call staff..
Staff Grievance handling.
Staff leaves Approval.
Preparing duty roster.
