Assistant Manager (Electrical) - Switchgear & Motors Jobs opportunity in Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (OPGC)
Assistant Manager (Electrical) - Switchgear & Motors (2X660MW)
Qualification : Degree in Electrical Engineering/EEE/equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks’
Experience : (2 -3) years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candidate must have experience in a power plant of unit size not less than 210 MW with hands on experience of working in Electrical Maintenance of Electrical drives and switchgears of capacity 415V, 6.6KV/11KV/33KV. The candidate must be knowing protection philosophy of Transformers, Generators and high voltage lines. Must be conversant with modern maintenance management tools like CMMS & RCA practices. Responsible for spare parts planning, inventory control and planning for annual overhauling/capital overhauling, execution of reliability centered maintenance practices and administration of maintenance management system. Responsible for EHS and other relevant compliances, provide plant budget forecasts including Capex Budgets, formulating strategy and cost minimization. Must be a team player to perform developing close interaction with Technical and other cross functional department members to ensure smooth execution of work.

Assistant Manager Coal Procurement (2X660MW)
Qualification : Bachelor's Engineering degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Additional MBA degree will have advantage.
Experience : (2-3) years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candidate must have experience in a power plant of unit size not less than 210 MW. The candidate must have knowledge on standard fuel supply agreement . Must have knowledge on Coal transportation and having adequate liasoning skill with Coal suppliers. Must be conversant with various issues associated with Coal sampling and measurement. Perform a variety of administrative duties as well as responsible for EHS and other relevant compliances. Must be a team player to perform developing close interaction with other cross functional department members to ensure smooth execution of work.

Qualification : M.Sc Environmental Science/ B.E, Environmental Engineering
Experience : (2-3) years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candidate must have experience in thermal power plant with good exposure in Environment management and monitoring. Must have experience in carrying out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce environmental risks, maintain relevant Environmental logs and documentation, compliance of applicable environmental laws and regulations, environmental management as per ISO 14001 and Corporate Standards, implementing organization’s environmental strategies and action plans, promoting and raising environmental awareness at all levels, environmental sustainability reporting, monitoring organization’s environmental objective, goal & target and achieve these goals, coordinating all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling.

The candidate must have experience in OH&S management & monitoring, carrying out risk assessments to identify, assess and reduce OH&S risks, maintain relevant OH&S logs and documentation, compliance of applicable OH&S laws and regulations, safety management as per OHSAS 18001 and Corporate Standards, implementing organization’s OH&S strategies and action plans, promoting and raising OH&S awareness at all levels, EHS Sustainability reporting, monitoring organization’s OH&S objective, goal & target and achieve these goals.
