OPD Assistant
Job Description
- Patient handling
- Guide the patient for test, work up, appointment, consultation, payment etc
- Doctor’s coordination
- Promotion of services
- Keeping track of patient
- Any other office work like photocopying, maintaining brochures, inventory etc.
- Coordinate for the smooth flow of patient
- Cleaning the hospital premise with furniture & fixtures as per the schedules drawn.
- Expected to take care of your core responsibilities but quickly help any other person or department if there is a need, shortage or crisis situation irrespective of where and when that is required.
- At any time own department is light, will be expected to join and help where ever work is going on even if there is no immediate need.
- Will have to attend to patients- Every person in the hospital will escort the patient (rather than giving verbal directions) if they notice that the patient is unsure of where they are supposed to be.
Apart from the above, your duties may extend to any other related work, which includes participating in eye camps and other charitable services, as may be decided by the management.
