About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Help us in the process of finding and agreeing to terms, and acquiring goods, services, or works from an external source, often via a tendering or competitive bidding process
2. Negotiate and achieve cost reduction from suppliers to deliver the best pricing to clients
3. Support/Drive overall strategy for sourcing function processes and capabilities to deliver high performance, on-time delivery in line with the business objectives & stakeholder needs
4. Identify suppliers, distributors and increase supplier base
5. Complete RFQ documentation and follow up
6. Continuously update of RFQ pricing database library to contribute to the effective processing and competitiveness of RFQ's

Other requirements
1. Strong written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
2. Be agile and an excellent negotiator, drive creative solutions & self-starter
3. Maintain and update the CRM tool
4. Ability to successfully navigate simultaneous multi-level projects and tasks in a team environment
5. Strong proficiency in Word and Excel desired and additional quantitative skills preferred
6. Strong understand of purchasing fundamentals
