The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:-
1. Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with vendors
2. Reviewing new vendors and their products
3. Negotiating product pricing and contracts with vendors
4. Communicating product-related issues and concerns to vendors
5. Researching new vendors in the market
6. Monitoring sales trends to determine the fastest selling products
7. Developing and implementing vendor selection programs
8. Communicating vendor responsibilities and obligations
9. Establishing vendor performance standards and suggesting improvements
10. Acting as an intermediary between vendors and stakeholders
11. Coordinating all vendor management activities and processes
12. Troubleshooting any vendor issues
13. Suggesting vendor management processes, policies, and methods
14. Updating, renewing, and canceling vendor contracts whenever needed
15. Maintaining and updating all vendor documentation
16. Participating in training programs and company events
17. Updating contract terms of existing vendors
18. Designing business guidelines for vendors
19. Ensuring all vendor activities adhere to our company policies
20. Altering external contract terms and conditions to suit current industry developments
