  • As a center managers are responsible for making decisions regarding the financing and structure of a hospital. Because health care is constantly changing and new technology is improving every day you need to need to continue to evaluate procedures and health care efficiency.
  • You have to work with administrators to plan, strategize and coordinate the health services of a hospital.
  • Supervise all areas of a hospital, including physicians, health information technicians, nursing, medical records and more.
  • Create many reports to analyze the effectiveness of various departments and work to reach financial goals and maintain budgets.
  • Improve the efficiency of care, keep up-to-date on new laws, represent the facility at governing boards and organize records of facility services.
  • Responsible for the administration, direction and coordination of Hospital assigned departmental activities for the purpose of attaining customer satisfaction and the objectives set forth by the Directors.
  • Consult with and advise Director, Chiefs of Medical and corporate Department Heads of problem related to the operations of all departments.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses and other medical professional and non-professional staff in developing, establishing and implementing operational plans, policies and procedures within the area Hospital & Centers in accordance with the generally acceptable professional ethics and within the framework of policies set out by the Regional Director, Chiefs of Medical Departments and Chief of Nursing.
  • Determines and recommends to the Chiefs of Medical Departments / Chief of Nursing the organizational structure, staff assignment, staffing requirement and operational procedures needed for administrative, non-professional and paramedical hospital functions.
  • Supervises performance of assigned responsibilities, providing advice, assistance and guidance as necessary.
  • Review operational reports and statistical data for area Hospital on a continuing basis to help monitor assigned services operations.
  • Develops Hospital internal operating procedures designated to achieve efficient hospital/department operation and maximum service to patients of the hospital.
  • Chairs and participates in the Hospital committees and in the development of meeting Agendas as needed.
  • Maintains general liaison and communications with medical staff and all levels of supervision and staff, and with Corporate Department Heads when needed.
  • Regularly tours the area Hospital facilities and service areas to solicit feedback regarding performance of all staff.
  • Meets with members of community as required to promote good community relations.
  • Ensures customer service measurements through area Marketing Department 
  • questionnaires and surveys.
  • Keeps the Hospital Medical Staff and Chief of nursing aware of all matters that may affect the Outpatient / Inpatient Services.
  • Assist Hospital Chiefs of Medical Departments / Chief of Nursing in determining medical equipment needed for outpatient / inpatient services.
  • Participates in the planning, designing and monitoring of programs for continuing education and on-job training for the area Hospital & Centers administrative staff.
  • With the involvement of area Sales and Marketing Managers, plans for the development of new services and promotion of the public image of the hospital.
  • Works closely with the Chiefs of Medical Departments / Chief of Nursing to analyze and evaluate clinical aspects of care in order to improve quality of patient care and plan for better utilization of paramedical staff.
  • Maintains effective and professional working relationship with ALL staff and other patient care disciplines for the purpose of providing the best possible care for patients and administrative work.
  • Selects and assigns staff, assuring equal employment opportunity in hiring, promotion, and other employment practices; identifies staff development needs and assures that training is obtained; and, assures that proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Any other task given by Management or reporting head from Time to Time.
