Job Description

Must have good experience as Oracle DBA
Possess strong Oracle db/query performance tuning skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly as they arise. Perform ongoing proactive monitor and tuning of the database instances.
Have solid knowledge of Oracle database architecture & concepts.
Experience with Oracle
Be familiar with UNIX/Linux operating systems, capable of creating shell scripts when needed
Participate in strategic planning, database architectural reviews and capacity planning
Support monthly releases deploy db code changes to QC and production
Be flexible in work schedule, willing to work
Must have self initiative, desire to follow up issues until theyre fully resolved
SQL performance tuning, OEM , PL/SQL skills
Have excellent communication skills which involves frequent coordination of DB related work among interfacing teams
Be able to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as being a great team player
Adapt to change and new technology quickly, and be willing to share knowledge to help junior team members grow technically.
Create technical documents when needed
