With the goal to train 100,000 professionals and impact 176,000 schools within a 15-year period, the IC3 (International Career and College Counseling) Movement seeks to enable high schools to help their students make best-fit higher education and career decisions. Comprising three key initiatives: the Annual IC3 Conference, IC3 Regional Forums, the IC3 Institute and the IC3 Live, the IC3 Movement aims to empower every school to run a robust, fully functioning, career and college counseling department.

The IC3 Institute, the non-profit arm of the IC3 Movement and based out of India and the U.S., aims to empower teachers and counselors to better equip their students with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully navigate the changes related to higher education as well as the careers and industries of the future. In its third year of programming, the Institute has seen a rapid expansion and outreach, now reaching 125+ counselors and teachers from 11 countries through its core, one-year program and approximately 400 additional counselors in almost 30 countries through shorter, focused virtual workshops and intensives. The primary focus of the IC3 Institute is the provision of a one-year certification program that trains teachers/counselors to develop professionally and establish a fully functional career counseling office in their high school. This certification program, supported by leading global universities, is offered free of cost to the attendees. Additionally, the Institute serves as a think tank for research and thought leadership on issues of student decision-making and mobility; the impact of the IC3 Institute and its curricula; and issues of college readiness and workforce development.

Job summary: the IC3 Institute is seeking a high-energy, service-oriented, mission driven individual to be Manager - Outreach and Admissions. This position will report into the Director, IC3 Institute and will be responsible to build partnerships and conduct outreach with High Schools and Universities across the globe. This position shall also evaluate and admit school teachers into various programs run by the IC3 Institute.

Functions, Duties, and Performance Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with all external stakeholders. This would involve the following responsibilities:

● Identify High Schools that need support in developing and training their career and college counselors

● Conduct outreach with these schools and enroll their teachers for different IC3 Institute programs

● Share insights with senior leadership of High Schools to facilitate the setting up of a counseling office

● Take full ownership of admissions at the IC3 Institute. This would include processing applications from school teachers and facilitating their admission into different IC3 Institute programs

● Regularly engaging with the cohort during the program implementation for feedback

● Represent the IC3 Institute at different conference and forums

● Work closely with the communications team to create relevant collateral for outreach and admissions

● Build a diverse and motivated cohort of teachers for multiple IC3 Institute programs that start every year

● Share regular insights and reports with the IC3 Institute leadership

● Manage / Maintain active database of various IC3 Institute audiences

● Liaison with teacher training institutions for the IC3 Institute offerings

Experience, Qualifications, and Requirements:

● 5+ years of experience in the field of education post-Bachelor’s degree

● Preference given to candidates with experience in counseling and / or those who have worked with schools and universities

● Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience)

● Technology proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, database management, etc

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization, especially institutional leaders

● Ability to collaborate with internal team members as well as external leadership committees

● Ability to interact and present to senior leadership at high schools

● Deadline oriented, maintain a professional demeanor at all times and exhibit tact and discretion

● Work effectively under pressure, and with accuracy and attention to detail

● Possess strong relational and interpersonal skills and maintain effective, professional, and cooperative working relationships to collaborate successfully

● Ability to travel an average of one week every month
