Overseer (Civil)/ Professional Assistant/ Technician Mechanical / Electronics job recruitment in University of Calicut on daily wage/contract basis

Overseer (Civil)

Qualification  :  (a) Minimum General Qualification of S.S.L.C. standard AND (b) Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Remuneration : Rs. 19,950/-

Age Limit :  Not exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2018 (usual age relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per rules) Age relaxation in lower age limit will be given to the applicants those who have worked in the Calicut University for their period of engagement on daily wage/contract basis.

Plantation Assistant (In Botanical Garden)

Qualification  :  1) Pass in SSLC 2) Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized institution.

Remuneration : Rs. 17,325/-

Age Limit :  Not exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2018 (usual age relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per rules) Age relaxation in lower age limit will be given to the applicants those who have worked in the Calicut University for their period of engagement on daily wage/contract basis

Professional Assistant

Qualification  :  1. Graduation in any discipline from University of Calicut or from any other university recognised by the University of Calicut. 2. Graduate or post graduate degree in Library Science from University of Calicut or from any ot h e r University recognised by the University of Calicut. (Candidate will have to produce equivalency certificate at the time of interview if their degree is from a University other than University of Calicut)

Daily wage  : Rs.  630/- per day

Age Limit :  Not exceed 36 years as on 01.01.2018 (usual age relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per rules) Age relaxation in lower age limit will be given to the applicants those who have worked in the Calicut University for their period of engagement on daily wage/contract basis

Technician Mechanical / Electronics

Qualification   

Mechanical: ITI Certificate (Trade concerned)

Electronics: ITI Certificate Electronics and Electrical)

Remuneration : Rs. 17,325/-

Pump Operator

Qualification  :  1.SSLC Pass 2.ITI preferably Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/ Filter/Electrician

Daily wage  : Rs.  630/- per day

Herbarium Curator (Dept. of Botany)

Qualification  :  1. First or Second Class M.Sc Degree in Botany. 2. Specialisation in Plant Taxonomy and related subjects 

Desirable : Experience in Herbarium Techniques (Candidate will have to produce equivalency certificate at the time of interview if their degree is from a University other than University of Calicut)

Remuneration : Rs. 22,000/-
