Job Description
Pandit Deendayal Energy University is looking for meritorious young researchers for the post of Research Associate/ Junior Research Fellow/ Project Associate – 02 Post for the project titled 'Urban Air Quality Assessment Using Remote Sensing & GIS' funded by Space Application Centre, ISRO, Government of India.

4. Duration: Till December, 2021.
5. Essential Qualification:
a) Research Associate (RA): PhD or equivalent degree in the field of Civil/Environmental Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control/Computer Science/Atmospheric sciences or equivalent or having 3 years of Teaching/Research/Design & Development experience after M.Tech/M.E in Civil/Environmental Engineering/Instrumentation & control/ Computer Science/Atmospheric Sciences or equivalent with at least on research paper in SCI journal.
b) Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Civil /Environmental Engineering/Instrumentation & Control/Computer Science/ Atmospheric Sciences or equivalent selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
c) Project Associate (PA): Post Graduate Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering/Instrumentation & Control /Computer Sciences/Atmospheric Sciences or equivalent.
6. Desired Skills: 1-2 years of Relevant research and modelling experience in dealing with Satellite data and using tools/software’s like GIS, Artificial Neural Networks, WRF, WRF-Chem, Envi-MET, ERDAS, ENVI is highly desirable.
