Job Description
1. Maintaining high standards of hygiene.
2. Preparing the ingredients for senior chef.
3. Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
4. Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation.
5. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe food-handling practices.
6. Seasoning and cook food according to recipes.
7. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked specifically, using methods such as tasting, smelling, and appearance.
8. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
9. Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.
10. Delight our Guests by providing quality and timely prepared foods.
11. Follow sanitation guidelines.
12. Adhere to safety procedures.
13. Practice cost-cutting measures.
14. Pitch in and work as part of a team.
15. Handle equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools
16. Perform opening procedures
17. Perform operating procedures
18. Perform ongoing duties
19. Process and manage food tickets / coupons
20. Track food quality
21. Handle special circumstances
22. Communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
23. Notify the Server of completed orders
24. Assist in the training of new employees
25. Perform additional tasks requested by manager
