Qualification, Technical skills and Experience:

• Degree in CS, or equivalent in work experience

• 4 plus years of experience with big data and/or analytics products and services or equivalent

• 4 plus years in customer support, technical support, consulting, or end-user support

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Hadoop, NoSQL, ETL, Streaming, or other Big Data/Analytics technology preferred. Applicant should have good understanding of the BigData concepts - HDFS Concepts, Hive, Pig, Yarn, MapReduce, Sqoop, Storm and Spark.

• Knowledge of running Bigdata workload using Databricks / HDP / Cloudera

• Programming & Debugging Experience in .Net/C#, Java, Python, REST concepts and Windows PowerShell.

• Experience with Windows and Linux.

• Basic Azure Networking concepts like Azure VNETs, NSG, DNS etc.

• Knowledge of Azure roles and architecture.

• Knowledge of Windows Azure Storage.

• Experience in RDMS such as Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft BI technologies including SQL Server Analysis Services, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Service is an added advantage.

• Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to do the right thing under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Great interpersonal and communication skills-both oral and written-and success in partnering with groups inside and outside of Microsoft.

• Initiative, Self-motivated and independent thinker that routinely translates circumstances and understanding into actions that move the business forward in a measurable manner.

• Ability to distill, prioritize and act on feedback from a variety of sources.

• Conviction and courage to drive decisions and defend positions as appropriate.

• BTech, MCA, BCA, MSc(IT), MTech candidates are ideal.

• 4-6 years in support management and customer service
