PDK Runset Dev. Job Description

The candidate needs to have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the VLSI backend verification CAD/Physical Design domain. He/she needs to have hands on experience on DRC/LVS/PEX usage in the leading EDA tools, Layout editing tools, CAD, scripting languages like Perl/TCL and knowledge of runsets will be an added qualification. Candidate needs to have strong debugging skills and needs to be a team player demonstrating strong customer commitments. In this job he/she will be involved in design validations on existing runsets, interacting with design and runset team in closing Physical verification aspect of the design. Also, he/she will be engaged in infusing more automation into the system, flow development, running regressions, adding more test cases to regressions and coming up valuable data for the runset developers for improving the health of the runsets. Needs to support Intel customers on achieving smooth Physical Verification handoff and design closure. He/she will be the liaison between the Design and runset development team.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering with 5 years of experience is in the physical design verification and tape out is required. Strong experience in developing runset and/or usage of runset as a Design/CAD Engineer for physical verification closure. Experience in runsets in ICV, Calibre, PVS is very much required. Exposure to multi foundry technologies such as TSMC /Samsung /Global and other competing foundries is very much desired. Key Aspects will be

Layout tools: Virtuoso, Calibre, DRV, IC Work Bench

PV tools : Calibre, PVS, ICV runsets for DRC/LVS/Extraction

Scripting : Perl,Python or TCL

Simulation: Spectre, Eldo, etc
