Qualification : The applicant should have passed Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/Institution.
Desirable : The applicant should have knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the State. The Medical Certificate issued by the competent authority is essentially required in respect of posts of persons with disabilities.
Age : Between 18 to 45 years (as on 01-07-2017).
Fee : Rs. 100/- for General category and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/BPUOBC/IRDP and WFF etc. Note: Ex-servicemen and persons with disabilities are exempted from application fee. The fee should be paid in the shape of crossed IPO in favour of Deputy Commissioner Shimla. The payment of fee in cash or by any other mode is not acceptable.
