Performance Architecture Engineer 2 (73522)
Location: Bangalore, IN
QUALIFICATION:
- Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Electrical
- Engineering with relevant course and research work and 0-3 years of industry experience.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- He/she will be responsible for modeling various micro-architectural features like branch predictors or cache subsystem for next generation CPUs in our in-house simulator, coming up with micro-architectural features to improve processor performance, validating the performance model with the RTL model.
- He/she has to study design trade-off on simulator and various hardare platform and identify performance bottlenecks in the design, come up with innovation for next generation processors and propose improvements working closely with the processor architects, RTL writers and other performance architects.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Excellent knowledge of computer architecture with relevant research and project work or industry experience
- Strong programming skills (C/C++)
- Experience with architectural simulators and benchmarks
- Basic knowledge of Verilog
- Relevant internship/project experience is a huge plus
