Performance Testing Engineer Jobs in Guwahati - Vantage Circle

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. Someone who is proactive and has the passion to performance test the applications or systems, analyzing the performance results, and sharing back the areas of improvement. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problems in the application.
• Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection, and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
• Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. 
• Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. 
• Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Working knowledge of at least one HTTP load generation software (e.g. LoadRunner, WebLoad, JMeter)
• Ability to design robust load/performance tests that can effectively lead to bottleneck identification in optimum time
• Experience in utilizing performance, monitoring, and tuning software for interpreting performance results and identifying bottlenecks (eg., DynaTrace, New Relic.)
• Hands-on experience in Web Services, XML technologies (REST, SOAP, XML)
• Excellent ability to liaise with multiple groups – architects, DBA’s, developers, ops, etc. – to collaboratively troubleshoot performance issues, and resolve bottlenecks
• In-depth understanding of RDBMS concepts, and expertise in writing advanced SQL queries
• Ability to analyze large amounts of performance data and summarize them into meaningful graphs and reports
• Experienced in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
