(ii) A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline. (OR) Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Textiles and Apparel Design/Textiles and Clothing/Costume Design and Fashion/Textiles and Fashion Designing/Textile Science and Fashion Designing in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Energy Studies : 2

Qualification : (i) Good academic record with at least 50% of marks at the Master Degree level (Physics/Chemistry/Energy Science/Geology) from an Indian University/ accredited Foreign University. (ii) The candidate must have cleared the NET conducted by UGC/CSIR (or) similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. (OR) Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree (Physics/Chemistry/Energy Science/Geology) in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Desirable : Working experience in Solar Photovoltaic/ Wind energy/ Thermal Energy / Grid Integration. Renewable and Non-Renewable energy areas.

History : 01

Qualification : (i) Master’s Degree in History with 55% marks or equivalent grade in the seven point scale. (ii) A pass in CSIR-UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline. (OR) Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in History in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics : 01

Qualification : (i) Master’s Degree in Food Science and Nutrition/Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/Food Service Management and Dietetics/Food and Nutrition/Nutrition and Dietetics with 55% marks or equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale. (ii) A pass in UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline. (OR) Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Food Science and Nutrition/Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/Food Service Management and Dietetics/Food and Nutrition/Nutrition and Dietetics in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Statistics : 01

Qualification : (i) Master’s Degree in Statistics with 55% marks or equivalent grade in the seven point scale. (ii) A pass in CSIR-UGC NET/SLET/SET in the relevant discipline. (OR) Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in Statistics in accordance with University Grants Commission Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Scale of Pay : As per UGC Norms

Application Fee : Demand Draft to the value of Rs.500/- and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates (non-refundable) towards the cost of application and registration fees. However, SC/ST applicants should produce an attested copy of the Community Certificate obtained from the competent authority to avail themselves of concession.
