Asset Management Services and Application development, work in a global collaborate team in the India GCIC, collocated with our sponsor users, harmonizing the development of Asset Management applications implementing and standardizing in an Agile and scrum methodology


Your Role and Responsibilities
Your day in the role will include:

As an PERL application developer role where the candidate will closely work with Architects and Users to develop Asset Management Tools.

We are Tools group in India GCIC. You would develop tools for our GTS customers.
As a PERL Developer your duties will include, but not limited to:
As a part of technical leadership team our PERL Application developers are expected to drive and lead the development, support and deployment of our Application solutions for Asset Management. Understanding our Enterprise Asset Management E2E services and developing solutions using development skills and critical thinking.
You would be part of an Agile team that will revolutionize the Asset Management Industry, move our enterprise applications, to the Cloud, implementing Microservices, APIs economy, Cognitive and Analytics capabilities


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3-10 years’ experience in Perl Scripting language and Core Java based Enterprise Web Application Development.
• Extensive technical experience and development expertise in Perl Scripting language or equivalent, Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Web services (REST), Hibernate, Java Script, JQuery/any JavaScript API and AJAX.
• Pearl Application Development, Clean Code and Continual Integration Development
• Good Knowledge in databases (DB2)
• You will be part of co-located team India working with counter parts and leaders located in US, Mexico, Germany and China.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exposure to Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins), Continuous Delivery (maybe DevOps), Docker (Nice to have but not mandatory)
• Possess advanced knowledge of object-oriented design and development (OOA/OOD),J2EE framework and data architectures; Experience with Agile methodology, experience building large, scalable E-commerce applications, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins), Configuration management tools (SVN, Git), Unit testing (JUnit), Build automation tools (Ant, Maven), API design experience, Docker
