Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) invites application for the position Assistant Professor

i) Anaesthesia

iii) General Surgery
iv) Hospital Administration
v) Internal Medicine
vi) Orthopaedics
vii) Ophthalmology
viii) Radio-diagnosis
Remuneration to be paid: Rs.1,00,000/- p.m.
Qualification: Anaesthesia
a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).
b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Anaesthesia) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post.
c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI
Experience: 03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD.
ENT:
a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).
b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Otolaryngology) of an Indian University/ Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.
c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience: 03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS.
General Surgery:
a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).
b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Surgery) of an Indian University/ Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.
c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience: 03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS.
Hospital Administration:
a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).
b. A post graduate qualification i.e. MD in Hospital Administration or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. OR Master’s in Hospital Administration from MCI recognized Institution / University or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience: 3 years teaching and/or research experience in Hospital Administration in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD in Hospital Administration or Master’s in Hospital Administration (MHA) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Orthopaedics:
a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).
b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. M.S (Orthopaedics) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post.
c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI.
Experience: 03 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of Specialty after obtaining the degree of MS.
Age Limit: The age limit is upto 50 years on the last date of receipt of application.
