Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) invites application for the position Research Associate II
Project entitled: "Development of a recombinant vaccine against the Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) and immunological characterization of Hepatitis E immune cohort and potential vaccine recipient cohort"
No of Post: 01
Remunerations: As per DBT/BIRAC funding rules
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Virology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, with at least one year experience in working with virus related work after completion of Ph.D. degree.
Desirable: Candidate should have experience in working with Viruses, familiar with ELISA, cytokine assays, RT-PCR, handling biological samples, knowledge of bioinformatics and concept of sequencing, etc. Experience in writing research grants d scientific manuscripts will be desirable.
The engagement in the project is purely on contract basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. However, appointment will initially be offered till May 31st 2022 and may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance or co- terminus with the project.
Age Limit: Upper Age Limit 35 years
