v) Ophthalmology (Eye) : 01 (UR)

Qualification : a) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act). b) The candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council of India. c) A postgraduate qualification of an Indian University or equivalent degree recognized as such by the Medical Council of India as under:-

i) General Surgery : M.S. General Surgery

ii) Internal Medicine : M.D. Medicine

iii) Obst. & Gynaecology : M.D. Obst. & Gynaecology

iv) Orthopaedics : M.S. Orthopaedics 

v) Ophthalmology (Eye) : M.S. Ophthalmology

Experience : Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality concerned after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree i.e. MD/MS.

Remuneration : Rs.1,00,000/- p.m.

Age Limit : The age limit is upto 50 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates will be given as per Govt. of India rules).
