Qualification : A basic university qualification included in the schedule to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). MD/MS or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India in the subject concerned. Postgraduate Qualification in the subject concerned. 2. M.Sc/Ph.D./D.Sc/DRP (Diploma in Radiological Physics) in the subject concerned. Three years teaching experience in the speciality concerned in a recognized Medical College as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor out of which one year should be after post-graduate qualification.

Qualification : i) MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. ii) MD/MS/DNB in the subject concerned. In case the candidates having MD/MS qualification are not available, the persons having Diploma in the subject concerned will be considered. iii) For the departments of Nephrology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology Neurology, Medical Oncology and Clinical Hematology, applicants must possess MD/DNB in Medicine/General Medicine. For the departments of Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Burns and Plastic and Neurosurgery applicants must possess MS/DNB in Surgery/General Surgery (iv) For the Department of Emergency Medicine, applicants must possess MD/DNB (Emergency Medicine) or MD/DNB (General Medicine) or MS/DNB (General Surgery) or MD/DNB (Respiratory Medicine) or MD/DNB (Anaesthesia) or MS/DNB (Orthopaedics) v) Must be registered under the State/Central Medical Registration Act

Qualification : ) MBBS from any Institution/ University recognized by the MCI. ii) Must be registered under the State/ Central Medical Registration Act. iii) Preference will be given to a postgraduate candidate. iv) Those PG students who have passed MD/MS/DNB examination shall be allowed to appear in the interview subject to submission of passing certificate issued by the University/Medical college; however, in the event of selection they will be allowed to join only after completion of three years tenure. v) In the subjects of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology and Microbiology, candidates possessing M.Sc. (Medical) qualifications in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply.

Pay Scale : Rs.18600-20100
Fee : Application fee of Rs.1000/- is to be paid online on the University’s online application submission portal. Applicant must check his/her eligibility before depositing the fee. The application fee is non-refundable. Applicants belonging to reserved category i.e SC/BC-A/BC-B and EBPG of Haryana Domicile, shall be required to deposit the fee of Rs. 250/- at the time of submitting online application. PH candidates are exempted from the application fee. As per Govt instructions, women applicants shall be granted 50% concession in application fee. The applicants, who wish to apply for more than one specialty/ post, will have to deposit additional fee depending on the number of posts applied for

Pt. B. D. Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak is situated at a distance of about 240 km from Chandigarh and about 70 km from Delhi on Delhi-Hissar-Sirsa-Fazilka National Highway (NH-10). It is the only major Institution for Medical Education and Research and a tertiary care centre for provision of specialized health care services not only to the people of the State of Haryana, but also to those from Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and western U.P. The Institute was started under the name of Medical College, Rohtak in the year 1960. For the first three years, the students were admitted to Medical College, Patiala which acted as a host Institution. In 1963, the students were shifted to Rohtak.
