Eligibility :
Master’s degree in selected branches
of Engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% or 6.5 CGPA in 10
point scale for Engineering and ‘B’ grade or 55% of UGC 7 point scale for
others to enrol in Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme starting in July 2019.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with a minimum
CGPA of 8.5 or 80% of marks shall also be eligible to enrol for Ph D programme.
Relaxation in qualification and reservations for seats shall follow the
Institute norms. Following are the departments and areas in which these
programme shall be offered:
Application Fee : Rs. 1500/- for general OBC category and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Fees will be paid as demand draft drawn in favor of CIT, Kokrajhar, payable at
State Bank of India, Kokrajhar.
Selection Procedure : 50% Marks in written test and 50% for Interview. Department shall decide the number of students to be admitted in a programme.
