Ph.D Programmes (Full TIME & PART TIME) recruitment in School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada

The admission forms of Ph.D. Programmes in Planning and Architecture are available throughout the year on the website of the School but the candidate shall be admitted twice in a year i.e. in August & January to coincide with commencement of Autumn and Winter semester respectively.

MASTER'S PROGRAMMES /COURSES IN:

Two Years (Full That only) I. ARCHITECTURE WITH SPECIALIZATION IN: (a) SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE 2. PLANNING with SPECIALIZATIONS IN: (a) ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT (b) URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING 

Seats and Eligibility:

1.Sustainable Architecture: Total - 20 Seats (Through CCMT - 20 Seals) All the 20 seats arc through centralized counseling for M.Tech/M.Arc/M.Planning Admissions (i.e.CCMT-2017) conducted by the National Institute of Technology. Surat , only GATE qualified candidates from B.Arch are eligible and have to apply to CCMT - 2017. 

However, B.Arch candidates without GATE qualification can also apply directly to SPAY. They will be offered the unfilled seats if any after CCMT counseling.

2. Environmental Planning and Management: Total -20 Seats (Through CCMT = 10 Seats : Direct Admissions - 10 Seats) 

3. Urban and Regional Planning: through - 20 Seats(Through CCMT - 10 Seats; Direct Admissions - 10 Seats) For the 10 seats of the above two courses offered through centralized counseling for M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Planning Admissions (i.e.CCMT -2017) conducted by the National Institute of Technology, Surat . only GATE qualified candidates from B.Arch, B.Planning, B.F/B.Tech (Civil Engineering) and M.Sc(Geography) are eligible and have to apply to CCMT -2017. For the remaining 10 seats of the above two courses offered through Direct admissions, candidates from M.A(Geographyy M.A(Economics)./ M.A(Sociology) and also B.Arch. B.Planning. B.E/B.Tech (Civil Engineering) and M.Sc(Geography) candidates without GATE qualification are eligible and can apply directly to SPAY. 
 
Marks/Grades Eligibility: Aggregate 60% marts or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 Seats for unreserved OBC categories and 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA out of 10 scale for SC/S I/PH categories.

PG Scholarship: The scholarship @ Rs.12400  to GATE qualified candidates will be paid to those who have valid Score card.

Application fee : Fee for Ph.D programme is Rs.1000/- for unreserved/OBC categories and Rs.500/- for SC/ST categories and can be paid through online only at w%% v..soay.ac.in (Fees and Payments). The application form must be submitted along with relevant documents and online fee receipt.
