Job Description
- PHARMACIST (Experienced and Fresher's)
- Department: Pharmacy

- Educational Qualification: B.Pharm / D. Pharm with kerala registeration
- Reporting to : Pharmacy Supervisor
- Eligibility: Experienced / Fresher's
- Mental Ability: Ability to grasp, relate and respond spontaneously to circumstances
- Attitude: Professionally qualified with good interpersonal skills & commitment to the profession and patient care, Capable of handling an individual store, Prior work experience in a computerized environment would be an added advantage.
- Attending to Patients : -
- While attending to patient’s prescription see that drugs are given as per the Doctor’s advice and if any substitution doctor’s consent has to be procured.
- A computer bill has to be generated and attached with the prescription .The Dosage pattern has to be explained to the patient. Cash to be collected with proper change.
- Any doubts raised by the patient have to be cleared politely
- Cash collection has to be submitted every evening to the cash counter.
- Maintain all registers up to date
- Pharmacy should be clean and well arranged on daily basis, ready for any time inspection.
- Look into expiry date on each drug before billing it to the patient.
- Maintain timings given by the management in opening and closing of Pharmacy.
- Co-operate with co-members in smooth functioning of the hospital.
- Don’t make patients wait at the counter too long to procure medicines act fast.
- indent to be placed to the purchase department with approval of Pharmacy Manager

Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (AIMS), also referred to as Amrita Hospital, is a super-specialty quaternary care health center and medical school in Kochi, India. It is one of the largest medical facilities in the country with a total built-up area of over 3.33 million sq.ft, spread over 125 acres of land.[1] It is a 1,450-bed hospital which supports a daily patient volume of about 3000 outpatients with 95 percent inpatient occupancy. It was inspired by Mata Amritanandamayi and inaugurated on 17 May 1998 by the then Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the presence of Mata Amritanandamayi. The Mata Amritanandamayi Math is its parent organisation. Ron Gottsegen is the Executive Director and Prem Nair is the Medical Director of AIMS.
AIMS is part of the Health Sciences campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University). The hospital has received the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and also enjoys accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for its laboratories and the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers NABH for the hospital overall.
