Admission into Ph.D. under IASST-Deakin University, Australia, joint fellowship programme

Qualification :  Master Degree in Material Science, Organic Chemistry, Phyto Chemistry, Pharmaceutical science (Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmaceutics), Chemical engineering or equivalent  Bachelor degree holders in Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Technology with strong academic record may also apply.  Candidate with research experience and publication records will be preferred  Interest in working in a multidisciplinary project will be useful

Age Limits (as on date of interview) : Upper age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates as per the Government Norms.

Candidates who hold fellowship from different funding agencies after clearing CSIRUGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/ICAR-JRF examination need not appear for the written test but have to appear in the interview for final selection. These candidates shall also express their research interest in the form of an essay of 10 sentences on the topic of their choice within the broad research programmes of IASST.

Remuneration :  Remuneration for the period of research in Australia will be governed as per the norms of Deakin India Research Initiative (DIRI) program of Deakin University and for the remaining period as per the norms that guides research fellowship of DST, Govt. of India

Selection Procedure :  Selection will be based on the performance in the written test as well as in the personal interview.
